Eyedeal’s Premium Foldable Intraocular Lens Approved for Market Launch

Recently, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) announced the official market approval of a hydrophobic acrylic aspheric intraocular lens (IOL) developed and manufactured by Xi’an Eyedeal Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

This foldable, single-piece, posterior chamber IOL is based on Eyedeal’s proprietary hydrophobic acrylic material platform. It offers significant advantages in reducing posterior capsular opacification (PCO), ensuring long-term intraocular stability, and enhancing mechanical performance.

Optically, the product features the most commonly used monofocal, aspheric design in current clinical practice, providing cataract surgery patients with sharper, high-quality vision.

It is worth noting that the product was granted EU market access in April 2021. Clinical application studies have shown that it delivers excellent optical performance, mechanical durability, and biocompatibility, with its overall quality reaching world-class standards.
