Eyedeal Shined at the 2nd China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum
From June 1 to 2, the 2nd China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum was grandly held in the historic city of Samarkand. As one of the key measures to implement the outcomes of the first China-Central Asia Summit, the forum focused on the theme of “Innovative Development of Local China-Uzbekistan Cooperation and High-Quality Belt and Road Construction.” The event brought together nearly 2,000 participants from various sectors of both countries to explore cooperation prospects and shared development opportunities.

As a major part of the forum, the China-Uzbekistan Commodity Exhibition also took place from June 2 to 4 in Samarkand. Xi’an Eyedeal Medical Technology Co., Ltd., was invited as a representative enterprise from Shaanxi Province, showcased China’s latest innovations in medical technology.

At the Eyedeal booth, the concise and tech-savvy display attracted numerous visitors, including government officials, distributors, and healthcare leaders from across Uzbekistan. A range of innovative biomaterials and intraocular lenses (IOLs) stood out with their advanced technology and exceptional performance, receiving widespread interest and praise from attendees.
Beyond product presentations, the Eyedeal team had in-depth discussions with Uzbek professionals on topics such as the extended applications of high-end biomaterials, clinical cases involving intraocular lenses, and models for international cooperation. The company’s head of international business expressed strong interest in collaborating with Uzbekistan Companies in areas including technology dissemination, bulid localized partnerships, and joint R&D initiatives.
The forum was jointly organized by the Government of Shaanxi Province and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan. As a high-level platform for enhancing exchanges and expanding cooperation between local governments and enterprises of both nations, the event reflects the evolving China-Central Asia collaboration. With the Belt and Road Initiative advancing steadily, the scope of cooperation is extending beyond infrastructure to encompass high-value-added industries such as medical technology.
