Eyedeal Supports the “Qiao Ai Xin · Light for Sight” Public Welfare Initiative with Donation of 200 Intraocular Lenses to Restore Vision

On December 24, the launch ceremony of the public welfare campaign — “Qiao Ai Xin · Light for Sight” Cataract IOL Donation Program — was held at Suzhou Jiulong Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The event, themed “Upholding Virtue with Love”, was co-organized by the Jiangsu Alumni Association of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Xi’an Eyedeal Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Jiulong Hospital. As an alumni-founded enterprise, Eyedeal made a targeted donation of 200 intraocular lenses (IOLs) to the Suzhou Industrial Park Charity Federation, bringing the gift of sight and hope to local cataract patients.

The Suzhou Industrial Park Charity Federation expressed appreciation for the corporate donation, noting that the successful implementation of this initiative would significantly improve the quality of life for ophthalmic patients and contribute to the building of a caring and harmonious society. Dr. Chai Yuanlin, Vice President of Jiulong Hospital, stated: “This charitable initiative will benefit more overseas Chinese and local patients suffering from eye diseases in Suzhou.”

Guangxu Guo, Chairman and CEO of Eyedeal, expressed sincere thanks to the Jiangsu Alumni Association of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for facilitating the collaboration. “As an innovation-driven company,” he said, “we hope to serve the public through meaningful actions. We are accelerating the medical-industrial transformation of our technologies and will take this opportunity to explore broader and deeper partnerships in the future.”

It is reported that the “Qiao Ai Xin · Light for Sight” initiative is a large-scale public welfare project jointly organized by the Suzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Publicity and United Front Work Department of Suzhou Industrial Park. It is specifically designed to help underprivileged cataract patients regain their sight. The project represents a practical effort to mobilize overseas Chinese resources for the benefit of those in need. Notably, this is also the first public welfare project launched by the Jiangsu Alumni Association of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University since its establishment.
